~Policies~                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              * No person under 18 will be allowed to tan without being accompanied by a parent/guardian OR permission from parent/guardian. This is just the first visit and we will keep on file. A written note, email, phone call is sufficient.   (no clients under age 10 allowed )                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   * If you are 5+ minutes late for your apt, your apt may be forfeited if we wont have enough time                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              * We cannot be responsible for children. If they are not able/too young to be left unattended please do not bring to them to the appointment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      *There is a minimum of 24 hour cancellation / time change policy, we are an appointment-based business, so we may be coming in just for you. This is why it is so important to let us know if you cannot make it. If you no-show for an appointment, the scheduler will no longer accept future appointments.                 If you No-show, cancel or Change your apt, you will owe the $10 fee.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           ~Technical Talk~                                                                  The most effective sunless tanner is dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. DHA is a colorless sugar derived from glycerine/sugar beets. When applied to the epidermis, DHA interacts with the amino acids in the cells to produce a darkened,brown color. DHA has been FDA approved for decades. Since only the superficial layers are effected, color lasts about 7 days. It is important to note, that even though your skin is darker, you are not protected from UV rays. Please wear sunscreen!
